Divestment of large core logistics centre in Denmark

  • Price: Undisclosed
  • Area: ~72,400 m²
  • Buyer: Coop (DK)
  • Sole financial adviser to 3C Groups (DK)

Nordanö acted as exclusive financial adviser to 3C Properties, a company wholly owned by 3C Groups, in the divestment of 3C Odense Erhvervspark to Coop. 3C Odense Erhvervspark is a large and modern logistics facility in Odense comprising 72,400 m². The primary part of the facility was constructed in 2008-2010 with additional expansion of the facility in 2012. The facility includes fully automated clad-rack high bay and packaging systems. The tenants include Coop, Roulunds Braking, Desmi Ro-Clean, Roulunds Energy, Raunstrup and 3C Groups.

The price remains undisclosed,  however the  transaction value is well above half a billion Danish Kroner.  The transaction is a landmark in the logistics segment in Denmark and the largest property transaction in Odense since the sale of Rosengårdcentret.

“The investor universe is increasingly focused on logistics opportunities. Nordanö has facilitated a structured sales process, which experienced significant investor interest from Asia, USA and the rest of Europe. We are proud to have acted as exclusive financial adviser to 3C Groups in the divestment of such an attractive logistics asset. The transaction underpins Nordanö’s significant track record within the logistics segment as well as larger and complex transactions. We are humbled and pleased for the trust shown to us by Niels Thorborg and 3C Groups, and for having executed a successful structured sales process, which has created significant value for our client” – Jacob Kjær Partner & Head of Denmark, Nordanö
